A blockchain (sometimes called simply “the network”) is a digital ledger where all operations (transactions) are recorded. Each new record (block) is linked to the previous one, forming a chain — hence the name: blockchain. This ledger is stored simultaneously by thousands of users around the world. Therefore, no one can falsify the records — everything is transparent and secure.

A blockchain transaction is the transfer of data or digital assets from one user to another.
For example, when you send cryptocurrency to a friend — that’s a transaction. It is permanently recorded on the blockchain, making it verifiable by anyone in the network.

DeFi (Decentralized Finance) is a decentralized financial system built on blockchain. It works without banks, intermediaries, or permissions — all processes are managed by smart contracts and open-source code.

DeFi protocols are programs on the blockchain (smart contracts) that perform financial operations automatically and without intermediaries.
They allow you to:

• exchange tokens,
• borrow and lend assets,
• earn interest on deposits and other activities.

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX)
Allow users to trade cryptocurrencies directly with each other.

• Some users trade tokens.
• Others provide liquidity and earn fees.

Examples: Uniswap, PancakeSwap.
Lending Protocols
Allow borrowing and lending.
You can leave an asset as collateral and borrow another (e.g., deposit ETH, borrow USDT).
Examples: AAVE, Fluid, Compound.

DEFI Pilot is a smart contract-based application that helps you earn in the world of decentralized finance (DeFi), even if you’re new to it.
The platform connects:

• Pilots — experienced users who create and manage DeFi strategies.
• Passengers — those who want to earn by automatically following these strategies.

All strategies run through reliable smart contracts and audited DeFi protocols.

Passengers are users (investors) who want to earn from DeFi without diving into technical details.
They don’t need to:

• understand how protocols work,
• open positions manually,
• constantly monitor and adjust strategies.

All they need to do is choose a Pilot or strategy and click “Follow”. Earnings go directly to the user’s wallet. A fee is charged only from profits.

Pilots are experienced DeFi specialists who create and manage strategies on the platform.
Each Pilot has a verified public profile with performance history, number of Passengers, and key strategy parameters.
Pilots earn a share of the profits from their Passengers, so they are directly motivated to make strategies profitable.
If there’s no profit, Pilots don’t earn either — it’s a fair, results-based model.
Only those who have proven their expertise and passed selection can become Pilots.

You simply choose one or several strategies and click “Follow”.After that, everything runs automatically: your funds are used in DeFi protocols to generate profits.
You don’t manage the strategy manually — Pilots or algorithms do it for you.
You only pay a small share of the profits — no hidden fees.

Because DeFi is complex. Using DeFi protocols on your own requires:

• understanding dozens of blockchains,
• opening and monitoring positions,
• ensuring security,
• analyzing risks, yields, and fees,
• not getting lost in hundreds of DeFi apps.

You pick a ready-made strategy — Pilots and smart contracts handle the rest. No manual work, no headaches. Just earnings and full control over your assets.
DEFI Pilot uses only time-tested and reliable protocols.

A DeFi strategy is an action plan within DeFi protocols aimed at increasing your digital assets.
In DEFI Pilot, all strategies are created by experienced Pilots, and Passengers simply choose whom to follow.
There are two types of strategies:

1. Stablecoin strategies (e.g., USDT, USDC) — for those who prefer stable income without strong fluctuations.
2. Volatile asset strategies (e.g., BTC, ETH) — for those willing to take risks for potentially higher returns.

Each strategy may involve one or several positions (actions) within DeFi protocols, e.g.:

• In DEX: adding liquidity to a pool.
• In lending: using one token as collateral to borrow another.

Passengers don’t need to understand the mechanics — Pilots handle everything. You simply choose a strategy and watch the results.

You can select a strategy through the “Strategies” menu or via the “Pilots” menu under “Open Strategies”.
Pay attention to annual yield (APY), risks, supported tokens, and the Pilot managing it.

After selecting a strategy, you’ll be prompted to open the web version of the app. Here, you can connect your wallet and allocate assets to the strategy to start earning.

You can withdraw from a strategy at any time. Just select the active strategy in your portfolio and click “Exit Strategy”, then follow the instructions.

Each strategy may include two types of fees:

• Performance fee — charged monthly or upon exiting the strategy, using the high-water mark method, only if there’s profit. The fee (10%–20%) varies by strategy. A significant share goes to the Pilot.
• Withdrawal fee — 0.5% of the withdrawal amount, charged only when withdrawing to your wallet.

Everything is “pay-for-performance”: no profit — no fee (except withdrawal fee).
Some DeFi protocols may have their own fees (e.g., lending interest), but these are already factored into strategy performance.

Any work with DeFi protocols and crypto assets involves risks. The main ones:

• Protocol hacks — some DeFi protocols may be vulnerable, especially new ones. DEFI Pilot uses only time-tested protocols with solid reputations.
• User errors — when working independently, mistakes are easy (wrong network, token, address). DEFI Pilot minimizes this risk — all actions go through smart contracts, and only experienced Pilots create strategies.
• Volatility and underperforming strategies — the crypto market is unstable; yields may fluctuate, strategies may become outdated. In DEFI Pilot, Pilots monitor and adjust strategies as needed. You don’t have to — that’s their job.

Still, risks always exist. You can review them in the app when adding funds to a strategy.

All Pilot strategies are published with their performance history, risk level, and experience. Even skilled Pilots can make mistakes. If a strategy underperforms, results affect everyone following it.
Important:

• You can exit any time.
• Funds remain in your wallet; neither Pilots nor DEFI Pilot developers have access to Passenger funds.
• Strategies never execute without your wallet confirmation.

To become a Pilot:

1. Contact the project team.
2. Provide your experience and portfolio.
3. Pass an interview with the team.

If approved, you’ll gain access to create strategies and your personal page.
Pilots earn a share of the strategy’s performance fee and receive promotion from DEFI Pilot.
